At last it is easy to make alcohol distillation a hobby. The actual distilling is as easy as making coffee!
EasyStill is a tabletop distillation unit.
of mash or wine are added and the unit plugged in. No cooling water required no thermometer or other nuisance. The unit is fan cooled. If you forget the unit it switches itself off when the boiling vessel is empty.
Warming up takes one hour, and then distillation takes 3 hours. This gives
of spirits of approximately 46% alcohol. Active charcoal purification takes place during distillation through a 500mm purifying tube.
The spirits produced have the flavour of vodka and are ready to drink or flavour with essences or herbs. Those choosing the easy way connect up a timer so the process looks after itself.
You can, if you wish, distill the same spirits again, and the strength will be 88% and even more pure..
The distillation unit
EasyStill is a tabletop unit of the highest quality. The boiling vessel and the cooling tube is of stainless steel and lasts forever.
The EasyStill is available in 2 models, one that is finished externally in white enamel, and one finished in stainless steel externally. The unit is a so-called Pot Still, a simple unit.
Despite this it produces a spirit just as pure as that produced by many column stills.
Simplicity of use beats everything. No cooling tubes or noisy running water in the plumbing. Thermometers and thermostats are not needed; the unit is designed for the production of alcohol. No 25-liter apparatus with long columns needed. The unit is only 200 x
. Pour in the mash, start, switch off when finished 4 hours later. Double distill if you need stronger spirits. Always a good result, it can’t be easier.
EasyStill can distill spirits, water, essential oils, Whisky, Rum, Grappa, Fruit snaps, most things. It is easy and fun to use and one can develop a hobby experimenting with most things.

Procedure for distillation
How does EasyStill work?
EasyStill boils the mash to steam, this is cooled down to liquid spirits and is collected in a plastic vessel.
The process has the following stages:
Mash is poured in the stainless boiling vessel (max up to the 4-litres mark) then one presses the start button.
The mash heats up and begins to boil.
The steam leaves the boiling vessel and enters the fan-cooled stainless cooler and is condensed back into liquid spirits.
The spirits drip slowly from the still. Here an activated charcoal filter is fitted.
